HM Revenue and Customs have recently proposed changes to the opening hours of Heathrow and Gatwick EPUs effective 4th July 2005:

Heathrow:
Monday to Friday: 0900hrs to 2000hrs.
Saturday/Sunday/Public Holidays: 0800hrs to 1600hrs.
All other teams that interact with the Trade will be available
Monday to Friday: 0900hrs to1700hrs

Gatwick:
Monday to Friday 0900hrs to 1700hrs
Saturday/Sunday/Public Holidays cover provided by London Region Hub, Heathrow, as above.

These changes will have an affect on the clearance of route one and two declarations outside of these hours.

In addition proposals have been made to move the processing of all LGW import and export declaration paperwork to LHR.
